Red Pond is a delightful location to camp, Florida Caverns State Park is a delightful location, and Finger Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Northwest Florida Campground is a good campground here; if you need a spot to stay Executive Inn is a great choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Red Pond a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest       of the months is October. At Red Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 60's; night lows through the wintertime for Red Pond tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Red Pond and you like golf, you can have a look at Great Oaks Golf Course, and Bonnet Pond is an exciting swamp near Red Pond.
