Poole Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Poole Pond is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and on a great day you       can stop by Altmans Bay, a swamp in close proximity to Poole Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Poole Pond has to offer, you can camp at Suwannee Valley Campground, and a tremendous close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-White Springs/Live Oak. This site is excellent, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Poole Pond. Econo Lodge Live Oak is a tremendous place to get some rest. High temperatures at Poole                  Pond through the summer months are in the 90's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Poole Pond.
