All the water falling down from the sky makes Poole Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is August, and October meanwhile is the driest month. All through the months of summer highs here at Poole Pond get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and night lows in the 30's for Poole       Pond. If you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a tremendous choice; camping at Suwannee Valley Campground is always a perfect experience. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Live Oak, and if you came to camp Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is a pleasant place to do that. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Altmans Bay is right nearby; there's whitewater on Falling Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
