The high level of rainfall makes Pocosin Pond a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is October. If you came for an overnight stay Playground Mobile Home and RV Park is a wonderful place to camp, and Pocosin       Pond is a location with many visitors from Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin. High temperatures at Pocosin Pond all through the summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Pocosin Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
