Throughout the warm months here at Lake Placid, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 70's with temperatures at Lake Placid dipping down into the 50's throughout winter nights. It's a good idea to stop by Barron River, it's right next door to Lake Placid, and Lake Placid is good enough       to spend more than a day at, Glades Haven is a good local campground.
