Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lake Placid, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 70's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Placid plunge into the 50's. If you need a site to stay Port of the Islands Resort and Marina is a perfect choice, and       if you came for an overnight stay Glades Haven is a great place to camp. If you're here at Lake Placid, you could visit Barron River. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Placid a wet spot; June is the month that gets the most rain; December is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
