Be careful coming to Piney Z Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. For the period of the warm months, highs typically are in the 90's at Piney Z Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's with temperatures at Piney Z Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Value Place Tallahassee East is a pleasant place       to spend a night or two, and the Vinzant offers hiking at its best. Woodlands Camp Ground is a pleasant campground nearby, and there are plenty of folks from Tallahassee here. There are swamps here too; Lake Lafayette is around here; if you need a place to stay Tallahassee-Days Inn South/Government Center is a splendid choice. Much rain falls at Piney Z Lake; the month with most of the rain is July, and October is the month with the least moisture. This                  lake is so wonderful.
