Persimmon Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lake Swan Camp Office. Lakes? Sure, Little Lake Geneva is around here. A tremendous nearby hotel is Red Carpet Inn       Starke; playing golf is lots of fun at Keystone Golf & Country Club. Throughout the days of summer at Persimmon Pond highs are mostly in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 60's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Persimmon Pond temperatures plunge to the 40's. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Persimmon Pond rocks! After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Starke is a                  splendid spot to spend a night or two.
