Perry Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Sportman's Cove is a glorious local campground; if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge University is a good choice. Dry warm beds await you at Micanopy Knights Inn. Lakes? Sure, Gamble Pond is around here. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Perry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend       nearby Meadowbrook Golf Club, and not far from Perry Pond you'll discover Tillmans Pond which is a beautiful lake. For the period of the summertime months at Perry Pond temperatures are usually in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Perry Pond. Perry Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through                  August, and the driest of the months is October.
