Perch Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Kingsley Beach RV Campground and Resort is a great local campground; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Starke. Perch Pond generally gets a large amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October. Summertime highs at Perch Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures

| | are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 60's, and night lows in the 30's for Perch Pond. You'll come across a pretty lake called Blue Pond near Perch Pond. If you came to camp Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park is a glorious place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Starke is a delightful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Keystone Golf & Country Club is nearby, and do stop at Stevens Lake, it's a scenic lake. | |
