For the period of the warm months at Perch Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 60's while Perch Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 40's. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge University, and Alachua Sink is right here at Perch Lake. Perch Lake is a wet place that gets       a large amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is August; October is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Perch Lake is peerless! There's so much to do here at Perch Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sportman's Cove is a glorious spot for that. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Prairie Creek, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn University is a wonderful                  choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Perch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Meadowbrook Golf Club.
