Best Western Motor Inn is a delightful site to get some rest, and camping at Pear Lake is wonderful fun, Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park is a wonderful local campground. The high level of rainfall makes Pear Lake a reasonably wet site; August is when you get       the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. There are other spots here than Pear Lake, for example Coopers Pond, and if you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn Starke is a splendid choice. Through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Pear Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.
