Not far from Peacock Pond, you'll find Double Pond which is a stunning lake, and       Bearpen Bend is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Peacock Pond gets a lot of water; all through March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Value Inn - Defuniak Springs is a great site to spend a night or two; you acquire a great view of Mill Spring Hill from here. At Peacock Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 90's. When the night sets                  in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with temperatures at Peacock Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
