Summertime highs at Parchman Pond typically tend to be in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Parchman Pond descend into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge West is a great place to spend a night or two, and       if you came for an overnight stay Breezy Acres Campground is a delightful location to camp. Camping is available at Williston Crossings RV Resort; people from Gainesville love to come here. Not far from Parchman Pond, you'll find Jake White Pond which is a stunning lake, and Newberry Inn and Conf Center is a tremendous site to get some rest.
