If you are in Miami-Dade county it's always a good idea to stop by Palmer Lake. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Palmer Lake; the overnight is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 70's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Palmer Lake temperatures plunge to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Lake Flamingo in the vicinity of Palmer Lake, it's a lovely lake; if you need a location

There's so much to do here at Palmer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Shalom is a delightful site for that. A splendid nearby hotel is Embassy Suites Hotel Miami-International Airport, and you'll find a picturesque lake called Blue Lagoon.
