Try Irwin Creek, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard by Marriott Sandestin at Grand Boulevard is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Oyster Lake is nice fun, Gulf Hills Campground is a nice local campground, and Residence Inn by Marriott Sandestin at Grand Boulevard is a brilliant site to get some rest. What a location this is for       outdoors folks. Oyster Lake is a tremendous place to camp, Topsail Hill State Park is a tremendous place, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin. All the water falling down from the sky makes Oyster Lake a wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. A short visit to Crystal Spring is always worthwhile, and do explore Peace Pond, it's a beautiful lake.                  Throughout the summertime months at Oyster Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's.
