Ox Pond is a quite wet place usually with lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the summertime months at Ox Pond temperatures are regularly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Ox Pond. After a long day outdoors       Lake City Travelodge is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Osceola Trail. Ox Pond is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Casey Jones Campgrounds is a perfect location to camp nearby; get drenched paddling on Suwannee River. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Suites Lake City; whitewater paddling is perfect on Falling Creek. If you get bored of Ox Pond, you                  could also stop by nearby Lake Lona. This place is excellent, just look at all the entertaining things to do near Ox Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Quail Heights Country Club is always a bliss, and a lake close by is Casterline Lake.
