Ox Pond is right by the Osceola Trail. Why not camp at Inn and Out RV Park while you're here at Ox Pond, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Lake City is a good location to spend a night or two. A beautiful lake like Lake Lona near Ox Pond is a wonderful spot to have a look at, and get       your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Falling Creek. So many entertaining things to do at Ox Pond, so little time. Do check out Casterline Lake close to Ox Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Suwannee River. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Quail Heights Country Club, and you'll most likely meet some people from Lake City here. A good deal of rainfall falls at Ox Pond; August is when you get                  the most rain here, and the driest month is October. For the period of the warm days of summer at Ox Pond highs are regularly in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's.
