Ox Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Falling Creek, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Lake City is a good choice. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Suwannee River, needless to say you could also check out Ogden Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This is a popular location for people from Lake City, and a lake nearby is Lake Jeffery. While you're here at Ox Pond you can take a hike along the Osceola Trail. There's so much to do here at Ox Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Inn and Out RV Park is a pleasant spot for that, and a round of golf at nearby Quail Heights Country Club is a wonderful way to kill some time.

down from the sky makes Ox Pond a wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain while October is generally the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Ox Pond, and throughout the night it cools
down to the 70's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 60's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Ox Pond.
