There's so much to do here at Owens Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dogwood Acres is a nice spot for that, and Chipley Days Inn is a great spot to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Owens Lake a quite wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Owens Lake has to offer, you       can camp at Falling Waters State Park; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent choice. Lakes? Sure, Bells Mill Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Sunny Hills Golf Club, and Flat Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Owens Lake with night lows in the 70's.
