Orchid Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Prairie Trail, and a lake close by is Lake Dot. If you came to camp Lakeside RV is a nice site to do that, and       a magnificent nearby hotel is Days Inn Suites Tavares - Mount Dora. Hiking along the Flatwoods Trail is splendid fun; if you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites Mount Dora is a tremendous choice. All through the summertime at Orchid Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's; the night is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 70's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures                  at Orchid Lake descend into the 40's. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do next to Orchid Lake.
