Lots of folks from Ocala come to Orange Lake. A great close by hotel is Scottish Inns Gainesville; if you came for an overnight stay Sportman's Cove is a brilliant place to camp. If you need a place to stay Micanopy Knights Inn is a pleasant choice, and camping at Orange Lake is tremendous fun, Calawood Campground is a tremendous local campground. During the summertime months       at Orange Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Orange Lake are in the 40's.
