Oak Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Bennetts Overnight Park is a tremendous campground here; after a long day outdoors Tallahassee-Days Inn South/Government Center is a nice place to spend a night or two. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things close to Oak Pond. Summertime highs at Oak Pond frequently tend to be in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's. The winter brings highs

| | down to the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Oak Pond fall into the 30's. Swamps like Henderson Slough right next door to Oak Pond make for wonderful places to pop by, and there's whitewater on Aucilla River for all you adrenaline junkies. is right here at Oak Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Tallahassee RV Park is a fine place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Value Place Tallahassee East, and Oak Pond is not far at all from Tallahassee.
