There's tremendous hiking along the Flatwoods Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Mt. Dora is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Beakman Lake; the Baptist Lake Trasil offers hiking at its best. After a long day outdoors Ecom Lodge is a nice place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Wild woods Resort. If you came for an overnight stay Parramore's       Campground is a tremendous location to camp, and North Grasshopper Lake is right by the Ocala National Recreation Trail. High temperatures at North Grasshopper Lake through the long summer days are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's, and night lows all through the winter for North Grasshopper Lake tend to be in the 40's. The high level of rainfall makes North Grasshopper Lake a relatively                  wet site; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and November on the other hand is the driest.
