Go to Lake Neptune if you want to go to a nice lake. Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve is a glorious national park, and if you need a place to stay One Ocean Resort is a good choice. It's a splendid idea to stop by Hopkins Creek, it's in close proximity to Lake Neptune. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Neptune has to offer, you can camp at Burrell's Camp Chippewa, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Jacksonville.

| | Lake Neptune commonly gets lots of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is November. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lake Neptune. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lake Duval is a lake nearby; you can stay the night at Regency Trailer Park. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Lake Neptune. Summer nighttime lows plunge down
to the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 60's with temperatures at Lake Neptune dipping down into the 40's through winter nights.
