Throughout the summer here at Lake Myra, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 60's with temperatures at Lake Myra dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. There's so much to do here at Lake Myra that you need to camp here for a while, Shell Harbor Resort is a nice site for that. You'll       discover a charming lake called Alligator Lake near Lake Myra, and hiking along the Ocala National Recreation Trail is great fun. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Myra a relatively wet spot; the month with most of the rain is August while April is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
