Go to Murphys Ponds if you want to go to a nice lake. The high level of rain makes Murphys Ponds a rather wet location; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. While you're here at Murphys Ponds you can play some golf at Scenic Hills Country Club, and Woodridge Park is a good local campground. Bannahassee River is a pretty stream that is worth a visit, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Pensacola is a perfect

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Swamps don’t sound that great but Alligator Bayou near Murphys Ponds is pretty great, and taking a little spree to nearby Ferry Cutoff is a tremendous idea. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Murphys Ponds there are plenty of folks from Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent, as expected you could also pop by The Wye while you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Murphys Ponds highs are usually in the 90's while overnight lows are typically in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's;
overnight lows during the winter for Murphys Ponds tend to be in the 30's. Murphys Ponds is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Tall Oak's Campground RV Park is a nice location to camp nearby, and Value Place Penascola is a good site to get some rest.
