The beauty of Mud Pond attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Flatwoods Trail; if you've had enough of Mud Pond, Sand Hill Pond is nearby. At Mud Pond during the summertime highs are in the 90's; the night is rather chillier of course, typically in the 70's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mud Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is November. Camping at Powell's Campgrounds is always a nice experience, and if you need a place to stay Ecom Lodge is a fine choice. This place is unbeatable, just look at all the fun things to do right next door to Mud Pond.
