So much amusing stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too nice to be true. During the long summer days here at Mud Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 70's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Mud Pond. While you're here at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the Baptist Lake Trasil. There's so much to do here at Mud       Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Powell's Campgrounds is a splendid place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Mud Pond, you can go for a hike along the Ocala National Recreation Trail, and you can stay the night at Alexander Springs Recreation. If you need a spot to stay Astora Motel is a great choice, and after a long day outdoors Riverview North is a nice place to spend a night or two. Mud Pond gets much                  water; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is November.
