A lot of rain falls at Mud Lakes; June is the wettest month with most rain, and April meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summertime here at Mud Lakes, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 70's, and night lows in the 50's for Mud Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is close by; going       for a hike on the Lostmans Trail is always a good adventure. There are other spots here than Mud Lakes, for example Big Boy Lake, and good hiking is available along the Hells Bay Canoe Trail. A visit to Everglades National Park is recommended, and you can go for a hike on the County Line Trail.
