It's always fun to stop by Mud Lake. Through the summer months highs here at Mud Lake reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 70's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake descend into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Red Rose Inn and Suites is a nice place to get some rest; near Mud Lake you stumble on a golf course called Walden Lake Golf & Country Club.
