The high level of rain makes Mountain Lake a relatively wet site; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is October. After a long day outdoors Best Western Brooksville I-75 is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Camper's Holiday Travel Park. Summertime highs at Mountain Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. Throughout       the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Mountain Lake temperatures plunge to the 40's.
