Mill Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Twin Rivers Golf Club is in close proximity; a trip to Canaveral National Seashore is worthwhile. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Mill       Lake is excellent! Lake Catherine is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Altamonte Springs is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Westgate Lakes Resort And Spa, and Mills Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. Lots of folks from Orlando come to Mill Lake, and why not camp at Jolly Gator Fish Camp while you're here at Mill                  Lake. High temperatures at Mill Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's.
