There's so much to do here at Middle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, America Outdoors Camper Resort is a good place for that, and tremendous hiking is available along the Hells Bay Canoe Trail. Terrapin Bay is relatively in the vicinity of Middle Lake; don't leave Middle Lake without first going for a hike along the Noble Hammock Canoe Trail. Holiday Isle Beach Resorts and Marina is a great       place to get some rest; dry warm beds await you at Lookout Lodge Resort. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Middle Lake. McCormick Creek is an interesting swamp close to Middle Lake; there are great places to look at along the Crocodile Point Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Middle Lake a reasonably wet site; June is the wettest month with most rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. Summertime                  highs at Middle Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 70's.
