Middle Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Madison Campground is a perfect local campground, and lakes are such calm places, why not visit Peterson Sink Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Middle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Friendship Inn is a tremendous site for that, and a pleasant nearby       hotel is Days Inn-Madison. The high level of rainfall makes Middle Lake a quite wet spot; most of the rain falls throughout July, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Do set aside some time for Campbell Sink since you're here at Middle Lake. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Middle Lake. Summer night lows descend down to the 70's.
