Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of McQuaig Lake. A brilliant close by hotel is Scottish Inns Silver Springs, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Eaton Campground is a wonderful location to camp. For the period of the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at McQuaig Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally       in the 60's, and nighttime lows at McQuaig Lake all through the winter generally fall into the 40's. While you're here at McQuaig Lake you can take a hike along the Ocala National Recreation Trail, and why not camp at Oklawaha RV Park and Canoe Outpost if you're here at McQuaig Lake. McQuaig Lake gets a great deal of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. If you need a site to stay Days Inn                  Silver Springs FL is a great choice, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Prairie Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
