If you need a place to stay Days Inn-Madison is a splendid choice. McKay Lake gets much water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Summer brings highs in the 90's to McKay Lake. During the dark       hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at McKay Lake temperatures dip to the 40's. You'll come across a pretty lake called Pine Lake near McKay Lake; Madison Campground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
