Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Pine Hill Lake near Lake McBride, and a great place to camp here at Lake McBride is Tallahassee RV Park. During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 90's at Lake McBride, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's       while Lake McBride nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Lake McBride. Going for a hike on the Vinzant is always a delightful adventure, and a good nearby hotel is Courtyard Tallahassee North/I-10 Capital Circle. Lake McBride is a pretty wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July; October is when it's the driest. Residence                  Inn Tallahassee North/I-10 Capital Circle is a nice location to get some rest, and Ox Bottom is right here at Lake McBride. This lake is so wonderful.
