This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mays Pond has to offer, you can camp at Florida River Camp, and not far from Mays Pond you'll find Mill Pond which is a wonderful lake. Mays Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Jellystone Park is a great spot to camp nearby, and after a       long day outdoors Days Inn-Madison is a great site to spend a night or two. Mays Pond commonly gets a good deal of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Mays Pond through the months of summer are in the 90's while night lows are usually in the 60's.
