All the water falling down from the sky makes Mason Lake a wet location; August is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Camping is available at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park; if you need a site to stay Best Western Motor Inn is a splendid choice. High temperatures at Mason Lake through the summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Mason Lake.
