Lake Mariam mostly gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Winter Haven City Willowbrook Golf Course, and a delightful spot to camp here at Lake Mariam is Cypress Gardens Family Camp. After a long day outdoors Ranchhouse Motel Winter Haven is a magnificent site to spend a night or       two, and Lake Mariam is nice enough to spend more than a day at, East Haven RV Park is a nice local campground. There are other spots here than Lake Mariam, for example Lake Buckeye. Summertime highs at Lake Mariam ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 70's while the cold winter nights at Lake Mariam are in the 50's.
