Alligator Creek is an interesting swamp in the vicinity of The Lungs, and after a long day outdoors Chesapeake Beach Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two. If you're here at The Lungs, do take a tour to Rankin Bight; if you're here you can take a hike along the Crocodile Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Isle Beach Resorts and Marina is a great place to get some rest, and there is a brilliant       hiking trail nearby called the Hells Bay Canoe Trail. On a brilliant day at The Lungs you can take a hike along the Noble Hammock Canoe Trail. All through the days of summer here at The Lungs, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 70's with winter lows in the 50's overnight here at The Lungs.
