The high level of rainfall makes The Lungs a reasonably wet spot; through June this area sees the most rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. There is a perfect hiking trail close to The Lungs called the Crocodile Point Trail, and don't forget to stop by Rankin Bight while you're here. Going for a hike on the Noble Hammock Canoe Trail is always a great adventure, and do stop       by Monroe Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 70's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at The Lungs temperatures plunge to the 50's.
