An afternoon playing golf at Keystone Golf & Country Club is always a delight, and if you're visiting from Palatka, you won't be the only one. Lowry Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. Dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn, and Lowry Lake is a splendid       location to camp, Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park is a splendid location. After a long day outdoors Jo Lu Motel & Mobile Home Park is a good site to spend a night or two. Not far from Lowry Lake, you'll stumble on Lost Pond which is a beautiful lake, and you can stay the night at Kingsley Beach RV Campground and Resort. Through the days of summer at Lowry Lake highs are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the                  60's.
