Lower Myakka Lake is not far at all from Sarasota-Bradenton-Venice. There's so much to do here at Lower Myakka Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Venice Campground is a great spot for that. Lower Myakka Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is April. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Oak Ford Golf Club,       and do go to Lake Sarasota, it's a gorgeous lake. Lower Myakka Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ambassador Suites. This lake is so wonderful.
