     If you came for an overnight stay Lake Swan Camp Office is a good location to camp; let's not forget Alligator Creek which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. You could also check out Deer Springs Lake while you're here at Lost Pond; it's nearby; a round of golf at nearby Keystone Golf & Country Club is a wonderful way to kill some time. Why not camp at Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park while you're here at Lost Pond, and a good nearby  
   hotel is Econo Lodge Starke. At Lost Pond through the warm months highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 40's for Lost Pond.
Lost Pond is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. This
 
               is a popular site for people from Palatka. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Magnolia Lake, and if you need a location to stay Red Carpet Inn Starke is a perfect choice.
