This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Crossroads Inn is a delightful location to get some rest, and Lost Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Sandy Pines Recreational Vehicle Park is a brilliant local campground. While you're here at Lost Lake you should explore Brushy Point, and needless to say Mill Creek flows through this       vicinity. Lost Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and October on the other hand is the driest. Do go to Little Lost Lake right next door to Lost Lake, it's a delightful lake, and Duck Pond is an interesting swamp next to Lost Lake. High temperatures at Lost Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's,                  and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lost Lake plunge into the 30's. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Lost Lake has it all.
