A quick visit to Lostmans Creek Number Three in the vicinity of Lost Lake is a great idea, and if you came for an overnight stay Big Cypress Campgrounds is a magnificent place to camp. Near Lost Lake you discover the Lostmans Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and a good nearby hotel is Port of the Islands Resort and Marina. Going for a hike on the County       Line Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Cabbage Bay is not far at all. At Lost Lake throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 70's while Lost Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 50's.
