Do take a look at Dog Lake near Lost Lake, it's a scenic lake; you'll meet a lot of people from Tallahassee here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lost Lake a wet site; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in the vicinity of Lost Lake has to offer. Why not camp at Lakeside Travel       Park if you're here at Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Seminole Golf Course & Club is a golf course right next door to Lost Lake, and there's wonderful hiking along the Vinzant. If you came for an overnight stay Woodlands Camp Ground is a glorious place to camp, and Sleep Inn Tallahassee is a nice place to get some rest. A glorious close by hotel is University Inn and Suites, and a beautiful lake like Lofton Pond is a fine site to check out. Summer                  brings highs in the 90's to Lost Lake with overnight lows in the 70's.
