Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Lake Lorraine is not far at all from Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin, and camping at Bayview Campground is always a delightful experience. Summer at Lake Lorraine comes with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 60's with temperatures       at Lake Lorraine dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Bens Lake; a good close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Walton Beach-Eglin AFB. This lake is so wonderful. Black Point is in close proximity to Lake Lorraine and is a fine place to take a look at, and a golf course nearby is Shalimar Pointe Golf & Country Club. A great place to camp here at Lake Lorraine is Destin                  Camp Grounds, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Plaza Beach Resort - Fort Walton Beach is a great spot to spend a night or two.
