Long Pond is a tremendous spot to camp, Lake Oklawaha RV Resort is a tremendous spot, and Quality Inn And Suites Riverfront is a glorious place to get some rest. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Long Pond. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures       dip down into the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Long Pond. Long Pond is a quite wet place usually with a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.
