While you're here at Long Pond it's a great idea to go to Gardners Prairie, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Baptist Lake Trasil. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Long Pond reach the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures       at Long Pond dip into the 40's. Near Long Pond you hit upon the Flatwoods Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and why not camp at Lake Catherine Campground since you're here at Long Pond. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Long Pond. A lake nearby is Trout Lake, and a splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites The Villages, Fl. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Lady Lake is a tremendous                  choice; on a good day you can take a hike along the Prairie Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Big Prairie is a nearby lake that you could pop by; if you came for an overnight stay Doe Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp.
