Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do near Long Pond. The high level of rain makes Long Pond       a pretty wet place; throughout July this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place like Willow Sink here at Long Pond is too nice to miss, and a great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express CHIEFLAND. For the period of the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Long Pond. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. High temperatures through the                  wintertime are normally in the 60's, and night lows in the 30's for Long Pond.
