Here at Long Pond there are plenty of people from Tallahassee, and dry warm beds await you at Capital Inn Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Bird Sink is right here at Long Pond, and you can stay the night at A Campers world. Quality Inn Monticello is a great location to get some rest, and unsurprisingly Still Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at. Long Pond is a wet location that gets a good deal of precipitation;       July is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Aucilla River, and Tallahassee RV Park is a great campground here. All through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Long Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime                  at Long Pond temperatures sink to the 30's.
