Do schedule some time to pop by Kit Hole in close proximity to Long Pond if you have a chance. There's so much to do here at Long Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Seminole Lodge is a great place for that. High temperatures at Long Pond through the summertime are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; overnight       lows at Long Pond through the winter ordinarily dip into the 30's. Long Pond gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest of the months is October. Don't miss out on a glorious swamp; Bateau Pond is right here at Long Pond. Fairfield Inn & Suites Marianna is a pleasant place to get some rest; Long Pond is not the only spot close by, Burns Pond is a close by lake.
