Long Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Duval's RV Park is a tremendous local campground, and lots of people from The Villages come here. Long Pond gets a good deal of water; August is the month       that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. High temperatures at Long Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Long Pond are in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful.
